What Should I Wear?
You may dress however you feel most comfortable. To get the best results, you need to feel comfortable and relaxed while lying on the table. Since we mostly focus on therapeutic massage, it is common to wear athletic or loose fitting clothing.
How Long Will My Massage Be?
Sessions are available anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours. Our most popular sessions are 20 or 30 minute therapeutic sessions focusing on a specific problem area. Sessions can be relaxation to simply unwind and relieve stress and tension or can be more therapeutic in nature focusing on relieving muscle spasm, myofascial release, decreasing scar tissue, or improving mobility in multiple areas of the body.
Do You Offer Prenatal Massage?
Yes. Prenatal massage has become popular at our office due to great results with hip pain, low back pain, headaches, and neck tension. Most moms prefer wearing yoga pants and a t-shirt to stay comfortable during their massage. During a prenatal massage, moms will be positioned comfortably on their side and supported with pillows. Massage is beneficial and safe during all stages of pregnancy.
Do You Offer Sports Massage?
Yes. Sports massage can include relieving muscle spasm, stretching, and improving mobility and range of motion. During these sessions, it is typically best to wear athletic clothing to allow for stretching and mobility work to be performed throughout the full range of motion.
